Helm
We are happy to announce the biggest release of Helm since yesterday's 2.4.0 release! How's that for spin doctoring? This release fixes a single critical (non-security) bug. It rolls back the mergo library to an earlier release. That library's upgrade caused KUBECONFIG files to not be correctly merged.
The community keeps growing, and we'd love to see you there.

Installation and Upgrading
Download Helm 2.4. The common platform binaries are here:
Once you have the client installed, upgrade Tiller with helm init --upgrade.
Note: On Kubernetes 1.6, you will need to decide how to configure your RBACs for Tiller.
The Quickstart Guide will get you going from there. For upgrade instructions or detailed installation notes, check the install guide. You can also use a script to install on any system with bash.
What's Next?
- Helm 2.4.2 will be our next patch release.
- Helm 2.5.0 is the next major release. While 2.4's development cycle was accelerated to accommodate Kubernetes 1.6, we will be returning to our regular pace with 2.5.
Changelog
- fix(helm): reverted upgrade of imdario/mergo 201169a860ff5c560312596b55733bb7c1447ba7 (Rod Cloutier)
